Working With Parents Beyond Breakup
We are always keen to discuss ways in which people can volunteer their skills and capabilities within our organisation. The work we do is valuable, often life changing and always with the children's well-being and future in mind. Our focus is to educate, support and reengage our clients to deal well with challenge & change.
We are recognised by our peers for our experience, insight, knowledge and courage.
We resource the separated parent to make wise choices and choose actions that serve themselves and others
The core purpose for our volunteer group leaders in the field;

Peer Group Leaders
DIDs hold support meetings at up to 20 locations around Australia each week. These meetings are facilitated by our volunteers that have undertaken the nationally accredited training for the DIDs program. Ideally we have at least three facilitators at each group to share the workload and support each other. Generally our facilitators have been able to make positive changes to their own situation and now want to help those that are experiencing what they did. We are always looking for more facilitators - if this interests you complete the volunteer registration form at this link and we will be in touch.
In addition to our group leaders we have a variety of other volunteer roles, such as;
Group supporter - supporting the facilitators and members while ensuring the group runs smoothly
Marketing and promotion - within the local group or national
Fund raising - locally or national
Administration - at head office or remotely
